Refuge Ariel is a warm and cosy mountain chalet situated in Contrada Serra La Nave – Etna Sud mt 1700 in Ragalna.

In a secular wood it is about 4 km from the skii slopes and approximately from the Demanio.

Thanks to its displacement the refuge is the ideal place to relax, mountain biking, trekking, cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering.

The refuge is opened all year round. To enjoy the refuge’s services advance booking is required.

How to arrive at the

It is about 30 km from the International Airport of Catania and from the Central Station

• Public transport of “Sicily Transport Board” (from the airport or the central station) to Nicolosi, then take the shuttle to the refuge. Advance booking is required.
  
• The Refuge Ariel’s shuttle service costs € 35.00 from and to the airport or the central station of Catania. Advance booking is required.
